Description
Leave the hotel car park and turn left at the roundabout into rue Albert Camus, then take the first street on the right towards Dechy. Cross the level crossing and turn into rue du 8 mai 1945. Then take rue Henri Barbusse and continue straight on rue Arthur Lamendin. Continue on rue Victor Foveau and you will arrive at the Croix de Pierre housing estate. Walk through the housing estate with its 1930s’ houses, built to accommodate miners. The estate is laid out in a straight line, allowing you to weave in and out of the streets and decide for yourself how far you want to walk.
