Hôtel de la Tramerie

  • As is recorded on its façade, this former brewery was built in 1649. Less than half a century after its construction, the brewery was converted into a mansion. And has had many different uses over the centuries. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Hôtel de la Tramerie housed the town’s art school. In the inner courtyard, there is a monument to the students and teachers of the art school who died during the First World War. The belfry and a painter’s palette can be seen on the monument...
