Celestial phenomena have always fascinated humankind. The changing seasons, the sudden appearance of comets or supernovae, have always been sources of much curiosity… But the interpretation of these phenomena has evolved over time. What was it like in the Middle Ages? This presentation will transport you from Rome to Bayeux, from Baghdad to Palos de la Frontera. Nearly 1,000 years of history and the history of astronomy will be recounted during this presentation under the Planetarium's dome. From ancient astronomical models to our current understanding, "The Sky in the Middle Ages" shows us how the evolution and transmission of celestial knowledge have allowed us to better understand our place in the Universe. A journey through time to experience history in a new way. Suitable for all ages 9 and up. Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
