What a strange apparition this twisting orange pipe is, swirling above the peaceful course of the River Scarpe! This monumental work, made up of a multitude of metal elements, came from the imagination of German artist Konrad Loder in 2002. To create his work, the artist acts like a scientist experimenting without knowing the final result. Here the result is bursting with colour and form!
